We have a lot of new folks on our list, they joined us in Denver, Fort Collins, and at Frozen Dead Guy Days, please welcome them to Mulemail. “Hi Folks!” The Longest Day of the Year has had a busy busy year playing with some wonderful new friends at amazing theaters and clubs.  We even posted an up close and personal video from The Steaming Bean in Telluride, check it out right here.  And the Big Time continues!

We just got back from one amazing weekend in Telluride!  The Steaming Bean treated us well, brought out a huge dancing, costumed crowd. Jewel Thieves, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, even Underdog all showed up to dance and rock with TLDOTY.  We were invited back to play in town during the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, we will have that info out as soon as we possibly can.

Next Tuesday, February 15, we will have a HUGE show in Denver at the Oriental Theater.  We are opening up for Henhouse Prowlers! Not only have they won the Best Country/Western Band in the Chicago Music Awards, they won the Planet Bluegrass RockyGrass Band Competition in 2010.  It will be our honor to open for Henhouse Prowlers, so please come out in full force, tell your friends, tell your family, and let us all rock the Oriental Theater!  We are nothing without you.

2011 is underway, and starting January 13, TLDOTY is going to be busy!  Come join us for some serious nonsense, new songs, great bills, and bigger venues are coming your/our way in 2011.  We will be hitting up Larimer Lounge and opening for Henhouse Prowlers at Oriental Theater in Denver in Feb. Someone said something about us playing at Frozen Dead Guy Days in Nederland, sharing a stage with some of the biggest names in CO music!  Eldora, Pearl Street Pub (finally let us back in), and Jamestown Merc, Lefthand and Odell!  Damn!

Thursday, December 9 is going to be a hell of a rock show at Larimer Lounge, playing with our good friends Anti Curse Vehicle.  We kick off the evening at 8:00PM and yer details are right here.  This show is important to us because if we can get a good showing of friends and fiends using tickets (coupons) with our name (printout tickets available here, left click, save as, print!), we will be considered for bigger and better shows!  Remember the coupons/tix – it is $4 with a ticket, and $8 without!
